Microsoft Outlook fails to synchronize the Address Book through SWG Proxy. If the IP address of the SWG Proxy does not appear in Internet Options, in the Proxy settings of the Connection tab, Microsoft Outlook is able to synchronize the Address Book successfully.
When Outlook attempts to synchronize the Address Book with the Exchange server, it does not retrieve the Address Book. Instead it does one of the following:
Displays an authentication dialog, prompting for the end user to re-enter their domain credentials
Takes a long time to download, and then displays an error message similar to the following:
Task ‘Microsoft Exchange’ reported error (0x8004010F): ‘The operation failed. An object cannot be found.’
To work around this behavior,
Add an exception for the FQDN of the Exchange server within the Internet Options or a WPAD file
