Viewing/Editing HTML comments from History web part in Process View page shows HTML code.
The steps to reproduce the issue are as follows:
1) Open a incident ticket which is currently open 2) Click on the Send Email button 3) Add the user to whom the email is being sent to to the "Mail to List" section 4) Select any email Template e.g. Blank Email 5) You can either select "Quick Send" or "Modify and Send" (I selected Quick Send) 6) Click on the "Send" button and then click "Close" on the next screen which should say "Your email has been sent" 7) You should now be back at the Incident ticket window, you will need to wait a short while for the email to be displayed in the History Section near the button of the incident ticket. You may need to click on "Filter" located near the History section and ensure that under "Comment View Level" Admin is selected 8) Once the email shows up as a User Comment (See screenshot below)
No errors are seen a part from the HTML Code shown in the attached screenshot.
It has been confirmed that this is a bug with the way the comments are being parsed.
This issue has been resolved in Workflow 7.1 SP2 and ServiceDesk 7.1 SP2.
