Cannot access Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Web User Interface from Symantec Protection Center (SPC) 2.0 +.
Login Error: An error occurred while verifying the signature of your ticket. Please contact the administrator to resolve the issue.
Java is not installed from the client machine, or the java cache is full.
If Java has not been installed on the client machine where you are logging into Symantec Protection Center (SPC) 2.0 + from: Go to https://SepServerIp:8443/ and click download java 6. There you will be prompted for the install.
Note: If the Download for Java 6 is not seen, this means java is already installed on the local machine. proceed below for the steps to clear the Java Cache.
After the install is finished, restart Internet Explorer and login to Symantec Protection Center (SPC) 2.0 + again to verify Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) is working through the Web interface.
If still unable to see Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Web Console from inside Symantec Protection Center 2.0 (SPC) Clear the Java Cache by going to Control Panel - Java - (General)- Settings -Delete Files -OK, this will delete all the Java cache.
