The user is unable to access Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder after clicking on the Launch Report Builder button in the Reports configuration page of IT Analytics (click here to view), with a rsReportBuilderFileTransmissionError error message shown on the console.
Please click here to view the details of the error message.
The ReportBuilder_2_0_0_0.application file is missing in the SQL Server 2008 Reporting Service's ReportBuilder directory (in this case, it is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\ReportBuilder).
This issue is caused by the missing ReportBuilder_2_0_0_0.application file which is required by IT Analytics. This will occur if there is no SQL Server 2008 service packs installed on the server which has Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Service.
Please have the latest service pack of SQL Server 2008 installed in the server which has Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Service. Once you have applied, the ReportBuilder_2_0_0_0.application file should be created in the SQL Server 2008 Reporting Service's ReportBuilder directory (click here to view).
