Unable to open the SEE Manager configuration wizard.
Clients are not reporting to the SEE Manager.
Unable to connect to the SEE Management Server database using the connection parameters provided. Exception Details: Login failed for users “<username>”
Possible cause :
Permission of the account in the database
Account password expired
Account is either removed from the database or deleted
Method 1 :
Reset the account in the SQL which was created during the installation of the SEE Manager
Make sure the account has proper permission in the SQL like “db_datareader”, “db_datawriter” and “public”
Method 2 :
Try to open the “Symantec.Endpoint.Encryption.ConfigManager.exe” from C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Server\Services\
Method 3 :
Backup the SEEMSDb database
Uninstall the SEE Manager without removing the database
Reinstall the SEE Manager pointing to the old database.
Note : Then method 3 points to the situation of reinstalling the SEE completely from the server without removing the database and reinstalling it pointing to the same database. Once the manager is installed you can enter all necessary configuration in the SEEM Configuration Wizard.
