Unable to authenticate to a domain (PGP LDAP Enrollment fails)

When attempting to enroll a PGP Desktop client, enrollment fails and you receive the message "Unable to authenticate to a domain".

CLIENT-00103: ldap operation result: -7, Bad search filter
There could be multiple issues with the AD/LDAP configuration that would cause this. Verify the settings used for the AD Credentials, that they have full read access to the domain. Check the domain server connection information. Verify the Base DN and only use a single connection. Try using other AD servers if necessary.
