Hard Disk is not automatically encrypted after installing the PGP Desktop client.
Could not start disk Encryption err:12198
This can occur due to a hard disk setting in the BIOS of the computer.
To resolve this issue:
1. Uninstall PGP Desktop from the computer and delete the PGP files from the %appdata% folder and reboot the system.
2. When the computer restarts, go to BIOS settings and switch the hard disk from a RAID setup to ACHI.
3. After the computer boots to Windows, open the Device Manager.
4. Disable Bus Controller and the Smart Card reader.
5. Re-install PGP Desktop.
