- Your Symantec Antivirus for Network Attached Storage disconnects and re-connects to the NetApp Filer server at regular intervals.

- You see the error STATUS_LOGON_TYPE_NOT_GRANTED in your error logs.

- You see repeated instances of this statement in your error logs:

 Virus scan server \\XXXXX (10.xxx.xxx.xxx) has disconnected from the filer.

 Vscan server \\XXXXX registered with the filer successfully.

Symantec Antivirus for Network Attached Storage needs to have the correct access right to scan the entire NAS server.

Add the SAV-NAS to the NAS servers Backup Operators Group.
