Only an older release of Encryption Desktop is available to download from Encryption Management Server

You obtain the Encryption Desktop installation file by logging into the Encryption Management Server administration console, navigating to the Consumers / Groups page and clicking on the Download Client button.
However, the release of Encryption Desktop that you download is older than the one you wish to install on your client machines.
For example, you wish to install Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 MP2 but the only release available from your Encryption Management Server is 10.3.2 MP13.
Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.3.2 MP13 and above.
Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3.2 MP13 and above.
The release of Encryption Desktop available for download from a particular release of Encryption Management Server is the newest release that can be supported by that release of Encryption Management Server.
Encryption Management Server releases begin 3.x. and Encryption Desktop releases begin 10.x. For example, Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 MP2 is available to download from Encryption Management Server 3.4.2 MP2.
Upgrade Encryption Management Server to a release that is the same as or newer than the corresponding release of Encryption Desktop that you wish to install.
Environments where the release of Encryption Desktop being used is newer than the corresponding release of Encryption Management Server that the clients are enrolled to should be considered as unsupported by Symantec.
