PGP Desktop cannot communicate with the configured PGP Universal Server. During client enrollment you may receive the following error:
"Couldn't communicate with the server"
Proxy settings configured in the browser may block communication between PGP Desktop and PGP Universal Server over port 443.
Use the following below steps to update the browser proxy settings and resolve communication issue between PGP Desktop and PGP Universal Server.
For Internet Explorer:
1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
2. Select Connections > LAN settings, check the proxy settings.
3. In the Proxy server section, remove check mark next to Use a proxy server for your LAN...
4. If checked, remove check mark next to Automatically detect settings if already checked.
5. Click OK.
