*Temporary UserID* Displays in PGP Desktop After Enrollment
Last Updated January 09, 2012
After a user is enrolled, a user key is displayed in PGP Keys as *Temporary UserID* as seen below:
You cannot send any encrypted email and receive the message " ...unable to find keys.."
This issue is caused by the email domain is not being on the list of Managed Domains on PGP Universal Server or possibly entered incorrectly. Therefore, the system cannot recognize the new user and is unable to encrypt email messages.
This issue is resolved by performing the following:
1. Add or correct the entry for the email domain on the Managed Domains on PGP Universal Server (Consumers > Managed Domains).
2. Delete the user from PGP Universal Server (Consumers > Users).
3. Delete the *Temporary UserID* entry from PGP Keys in PGP Desktop.
4. Re-enroll user.
