Use the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Browse to C:\Users\<user profile>\App Data\Local\Temp folder. You will find that there are numerous PGP folders having a set of alphanumeric characters at the end of the PGP folder name.
2. Choose the one with the latest timestamp, open the folder and double-click the PGPDesktop.msi file.
3. Click OK.
4. After the installation successfully completes, reboot the computer.
Once the system finishes booting to the operating system, you will not be prompted for the PGP Desktop installer.
