Feature Request: Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk v8.2.0 MP2 should support Samsung SSD OPAL Hard Drives.
Message "update settings failed" occurs after reboot.
If trying to open the SEE user client console, the message "Register General User Failed Please contact administrator" is received.
Samsung OPAL Hard Drive is currently not supported.
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This issue is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version or Maintenance Pack of the product. Please be sure to refer back to this document periodically as any changes to the status of the issue will be reflected here.
Only solution as of now is to replace the Samsung SSD drives with another standard type drives.
