After successfully entering your passphrase at the PGP BootGuard screen, the computer remains at a blank screen with a blinking cursor. Even trying to update to PGP Desktop 10.2 MP3 and 10.2 MP4 did not resolve the issue.
Use the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Decrypt the disk using the recovery disk or by connecting the disk to a computer with PGP Desktop installed.
2. Use chkdsk to check the disk for errors.
3. Defragment the disk.
4. Install PGP Desktop 10.2 MP5 and start PGP Whole Disk Encryption.
5. Restart the computer and confirm the issue is resolved.
