Feature Request: Currently, it is not be possible to use System Restore from the advanced boot menu (F8) if the Windows system partition is encrypted with Symantec Drive Encryption (formerly known as PGP Whole Disk Encryption).
It is still possible to use System Restore after booting into Windows.
There are no errors reported, but the System Restore utility in the advanced boot menu will be unable to read the encrypted disk.
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.
