You log in to SMG as admin from a remote SSH client and execute db-backup command. The following error occurs and the backup cannot be created; however, when you log in to SMG locally on the Appliance's console, the db-backup can be performed without errors. You want to know why and want remotely execute the command.
ERROR: There is not enough drive space available to perform the backup.
Space Required: <VERY LARGE NUMBER> kb
db-backup command is executed with some locale other than en_US.UTF-8.
Try one of the following workarounds. If they do not work, see TECH84447 shown below in the Related KB section.
Login SMG locally.
When you log in remotely via SSH client, export LANG=en_US.UTF-8 before slogin to SMG:
