When attempting to use the Symantec Encryption Desktop mail proxy functionality the user may be unable to connect to the server.

Feature Request to add this product feature. Note that a feature request is exactly that, a request. There is no committed date for this request from the PGP Product Management team, nor from the PGP Engineering team at this time.
To work around this issue, disable the messaging feature in Symantec Encryption Desktop and use the encrypt/decrypt clipboard functionality to send or view encrypted messages.
