If an email notification cannot be accepted by the downstream mail server, it may generate a Delivery Status Notification that will not reach the original sender. Therefore, the Spam Quarantine notifications sender address should be changed to match the internal email domain requisites.
Requirement: In order to change the sender address for Spam Quarantine notifications, a Directory Source must be configured in Symantec Messaging Gateway.
When the Directory Source is configured, browse to "Spam" > "Settings" > "Quarantine Settings" and click "Edit" next to "Notification template:"
