Not having USB keyboard access in Windows Safe Mode and Microsoft Recovery Mode.
Last Updated July 24, 2013
After installing SEE Full Disk on various model machines users are unable to use internal and external keyboards when attempting to access the Windows Advanced Options Menu after hitting F8. The machine will then be unusable.
Safe Mode and Microsoft Recovery Mode screens must have keyboard functionality for non-Autologon(PBA)configured hardware. Currently this is only working for hardware that has the autologon msi installed. Customer has requirements that this work for both hardware installed with PBA as well as hardware with autologon installed.
Product management is currently looking into if/when/how this enhancement request can be accomplished, when this information is obtained an update will be provided here.
This is affecting machines across many models.
