Blank pulldown menus for Entities and Platforms in query creation dialogue.
Missing Netware and NDS DLL and XML files in console install that comes with PU 2013-2. This issue only occurs in CCS installations that have been upgraded from CCS 10.x to CCS 11.
1. Start the CCS console.Go to Task Manager and find the symconsole32.exe running under your ID (there might be one from another user logged into the same machine)....right click on the exe and select Open File Location from the context menu. A folder called "syma....exe_xxx" is opened and the console executable is displayed
2. Go up one level to a similarly named folder named "syma....tion_xxxx" right above it.Do the following:
Copy from the <InstallDir>\ Symantec\CCS\Reporting and Analytics\Application Serverfolder the following DLL files and paste these files into the syma....tion_xxxxfolder at its root.
3. Restart the CCS Console, check to ensure that the platform and entity pulldown menus are now populated.
4. All separate remote consoles under each user profile will need to be fixed in the same manner to allow these fields to be populated. This issue is targeted to be fixed in PU 2013-3.
CCS 11 which was originally upgraded from 10.5 and uses RMS as data collector.
