When installing the CCS 11 Unix agent on the Unix target. During the installation of the target agent the following error occurs:
/tmp/1389961380.86.sh: 14334 Abort(coredump) The installation may even work fine on some machines but fails on the other hosts.
no bidirectional communication between the Unix target that are failing and the CCS Manager.
Current issue is unable to telnet from CCS manager (10.xxx.xxx.xx) to Unix target host hostname (192.xxx.xxx.xx) using port 5600.
From the Unix target you must be able to telnet to the CCS manager using ip addresses and port 5600. Also From the CCS Manager you must be able to telnet to the Unix target using ip addresses and port 5600. If you are not able to do both, this issue can not be troubleshooted further until these issue are resolved. After this issue is resolved. Please try the install again.
If using a scripted installation method:
Please modify the script to use only ip addresses instead of hostname. If this does not work, try using the manual method.
It is suggested to use the manual method of installation, when troubleshooting this type of issue. When using the manual method. (one step at a time) Please always enter ip addresses not hostname when prompted to enter target values.
