Certificate creation may fail in scenarios where the ports required for certificate creation are not active.
Cannot access the Symantec Protection Engine user interface. The default SPE user interface ports 8004 and 8005 are not in a listening state.
Host name might be missing in the /etc/hosts file.
To troubleshoot this scenario, make sure that the host name and IP address is mentioned in the /etc/hosts file. If not, enter the host name and IP address in the /etc/hosts file and launch Symantec Protection Engine.
