The warning message is displayed because of to the self-signed certificate generated by Symantec Protection Engine.
If you import the same self-signed certificate (Certificate.pem) that is present in installation directory of Symantec Protection Engine into the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store, then the warning message does not appear.
Note: This solution is applicable to Internet Explorer only.
To do this:
On Symantec Protection Engine (version 126.96.36.199 onward):
Launch Internet Explorer.
Go to Tools > Internet Options.
Click the Content tab.
In the Certificates dialoq box, click Import. The Certificates Import Wizard is launched.
Click Browse and select the Certificate.pem file from the Symantec Protection Engine installation directory.
Select the certificate store as Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
