When installing the client for Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEP SBE) cloud, you see an error indicating that there are pending system changes that require a restart of the computer.
Note: This error may still occur even after you have restarted the computer.
Your installation cannot proceed until you have resolved the following:
The installer has detected that there are pending system changes that require a restart. Please restart the server and rerun the installation.
Run Windows Update to ensure that all updates are applied on the affected computer.
Restart the computer, and run the installation again.
