When reviewing the errolog.txt file on the computer where dcinterface.exe is installed, you see many 1314 errors.
Unable to access Security event log for host <servername>; Err:1314
This error is resulting from the domain account not being allowed to run interactively.
To resolve this error on the local computer, please follow these steps in the machine where dcinterface.exe is installed:
In the Start Menu, choose Run...
Enter secpol.msc and click OK
Navigate to Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment
Edit the policy labeled 'Act as part of the operating system' and add the domain user in the format of domain\user
Restart the dcinterface service and verify that the errors no longer appear in the errorlog.txt file.
To make this persistent across all domain controllers, instead of accessing secpol.msc, edit the Default Domain Controllers Policy and navigate to Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignments and perform the same steps.
