Network Discover scanners must be installed on the system where they are supported. Scanners for 64-bit systems must be installed on 64-bit servers. Scanners for 32-bit systems must be installed on 32-bit servers.

Scanners for 64-bit systems must be installed on 64-bit servers. Scanners for 32-bit systems will not work on 64-bit servers.

Note that the names of the scanner installation files for 64-bit servers have "x64" in the name of the installation file. For example, SharePoint2007Scanner_windows_x64_10.5.exe is for a 64-bit server.

Note that most of the names of the scanner installation files for 32-bit servers have "x32" in the name of the installation file. For example, SharePoint2007Scanner_windows_x32_10.5.exe must be installed on 32-bit servers. If the name of the scanner installation file does not specify 32-bit or 64-bit, it is intended for 32-bit servers. For example, LiveLinkScanner_windows_10.0.exe must be installed on a 32-bit server.
