How to exclude a folder from Endpoint Agent monitoring.
In the Enforce UI go to
Agent Configuration screen you will either need to open an existing configuration file possibly the default or you have the option to create a new one.
To add a new configuration file click on Add Configuration button and enter the
To edit an existing configuration file click on the Pencil icon to the right to edit the file.
Once you have opened your configuration file you should click on the
Agent Monitoring tab
Filter by File Properties click on the
Add Monitoring Filter button
Filter Action >
Ignore (do not monitor)
Destination or Protocol select
File Attributes select
File Path on Destination (only applies to Local drives)
Enter the folder path for the folder you wish to exclude.
Click on the
OK button at the top of the screen
Now you have returned to the
Agent Monitoring tab where you should see your new monitoring filter added to the
Filter by File Properties section.
To apply this configuration click on
Save and Apply
If you receive the message “Agent Configuration .. was saved successfully. No Endpoint Servers are currently using this configuration” then you must click on Apply Configuration button to go to the Assign agent configurations to Endpoint Servers screen.
Check the box beside the Endpoint Server you want to apply the configuration file to and select from the Configuration drop down box your configuration file
