Create an Exact Data Match (EDM) with the information you want to use for a Directory Group Match (DGM). Note: When creating the EDM you must take the extra step of mapping system fields.
Go to Policy -> Protected Content -> Exact Data,
Click on "Add Exact Data Profile"
Fill out the "General" page information. If the file has column names make sure to check the checkbox for "Read first row as column names".
Click on "Next >"
In the "Field Mappings" section make sure the the column names appear in the "Data Source Field" column. Select the matching "System Field" from the drop down list.
Per the comment just under the "Field Mappings" header, for a directory profile (DGM) you must map at least one of the following:
Email Address IP Address AOL IM Name Yahoo IM Name MSN IM Name
You can map more than one, but you must have one for this profile to be used in "Sender/User xxx Match".
Click on "Finished".
Verify you get a green banner with "A new registered content <name> was successfully saved."
When you create a policy or add a new rule, on the "Generate Incidents when:" page, in the section "Identity", the drop down list for "Sender/User Matches Directory From" will have the <name> in the list.
If the field mappings are not done, the EDM will not show up in the "Sender/User Matches Directory From" drop down list.
