The following message can appear with regard to space allocation (either while space is being allocated or when an autoextending datafile attempts to grow):
ORA-01536: space quota exceeded for tablespace.
ORA-01536: space quota exceeded indicates the prescence of a space quota placed on a schema. It prevents a schema from growing past a particular size. On multi-schema databases the notion was one of safety, where one schema couldn't grow logrithmically overnight and devour all available disk space, crashing the database in the process.
Vontu, however, does not use quotas, and expects that the Vontu schema is the only application schema within the database.
To remove a quota from a schema:
1) log into SQLPLUS as sys as sysdba
2) ALTER USER protect QUOTA UNLIMITED;
where protect is the Vontu schema owner.
