Where do you change the port for the MonitorController?
Resolution
The port for the MonitorController is changed in the UI on the Enforce server.
From the UI, click System Overview -> Select Detection Server -> Configure -> Port
The default value is 8100. Change this value to the desired setting.
The same modifications will also need to be made in the or C:\SymantecDLP\Protect\config\communication.properties file on the Detection Server.
For example:
# The port number on which the server is listening.
# Used by the BoxMonitor only.
listenPort = 8100
This should be at the bottom of the file.
Note: SymantecDLPDetectionServerController service must be restarted for changes to take effect.
