When trying to scan a Network Appliance via a Windows Network Discover server, after correctly testing the credential access by manually mounting the share from the Network Discover Server. You get the following error when performing a scan:
FAILED_ITEM domainName is null or empty:Discover Scan errors: domainName is null or empty
Open and edit the
Crawler.properties file. The
Crawler.properties file must be modified so that
filesystemcrawler.localusernamelookup is set from the default of '
false' to '
true' (without the quotes).
