Unexpected error occurred while creating an EDM.

If you see an unexpected error while creating an EDM, this error could be an indication that you have a corrupt index file. This can result when a file is exported from a DB Server and contains incorrect CR/LF entries. Adjusting the output format to have proper line feed resolves the issue.

As an alternate workaround, copy and paste the data into a clean text file and save it using Notepad. The resulting import file should work successfully.
