Symantec tests Network Monitor, Network Prevent for Email, and Network Prevent for Web to assess their performance under load. The objective of these tests is to obtain data on the overall performance and throughput of Network Monitor and Network Prevent.  Symantec Data Loss Prevention Network Monitor and Prevent Performance Sizing Guidelines help you estimate the number of servers that are required to support traffic loads on your network. 

Support for the Napatech high speed packet capture adapter has been added since Symantec Data Loss Prevention version 11.6.
