While installing IT Analytics (ITA), errors are encountered during the pre-requisites check even though the pre-requisites listed in the error message are met.

The IT Analytics Server may not be functional. Possible causes include:

- ASP.NET component is not installed or not registered in IIS

- The Application Server role is missing some required features (HTTP Activation?)

- The Web Server (IIS) role is missing some required features

Exception: The HTTP service located at http://<hostname>/Services/ServerPrerequisitesService is too busy

Make sure the Application ID has sufficient permissions under Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment. Ensure the account under which the application runs has been assigned the following:

• Log on as a service
• Log on as a batch job
