Number of monitors, screen resolution, and serial numbers are not properly captured by Inventory Solution
This is a known issue.
A point-fix is available for this issue on version 7.5 SP1 HF5.
HOW TO INSTALL THIS POINTFIX
Retrieve files from the archive to the NS hard drive.
Log in as administrator
Click on PFinstaller.exe
Click install files button
From Windows Task Scheduler manually run:
-NS.Package Distribution Point Update Schedule
Upgrade Inventory plug-in on clients via Inventory Plug-in Upgrade policy
New version of Altiris Inventory agent is 7.5.3301
HOW TO UNINSTALL THIS POINTFIX
Make sure that Backup subfolder is located in PFinstaller’ directory
Execute PFInstaller.exe with administrative privileges (right-click > Run as administrator). Old binaries will be repaired from Backup folder located at the same location where PFinstaller is. NS services should be started automatically
