Switching between Inline and Tap modes may cause a packet storm.

Inline modes and Tap mode use different network topology.

If you switch to Tap mode from either Inline Block or Inline Monitor mode, you must disable scanning and change the cable
configuration before you enable scanning in Tap mode.
