You receive an error when migrating from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEP SBE) on-premise solution to the cloud hosted solution.
SEP SBE 12.1.x serial number M########## was imported, but the new SEP SBE cloud-managed serial numbers cannot be found. Please refer to your product announcement email which contains the new serial numbers and add them from the Subscriptions page. Contact support for further assistance.
The licensing information being imported from Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) contains unrecognized serial numbers.
Referring to the product announcement you received, add each serial number listed.
Some serial numbers will not be recognized and will fail; continue to add all of the serial numbers until your licensed seat count is calculated correctly.
If this fails please contact support. To expedite the process please have your Symantec Genuine Certificate available for reference. The certificate is sent as a PDF document through email when the product is purchased.
