Issue/Introduction

Your Unified Management Console is not connecting to DCS:Server Advanced after 6.5 MP1 Upgrade.

Resolution

You will need to re-register the DCS Management Server with UMC to restore functionality. To do this, follow the below steps.

1) Run, as administrator, registerProduct.bat found in (by default) C:/Program Files (x86)/Symantec/Data Center Security Server/Server/tools
2) You then need to accept the new certificate into your browser.
     - Enter the following URL into your browser and accept the certificate there: https://<DCS Server IP/hostname>:4443/sis-ui
​     - Then login to UMC at https://<UMC IP/hostname>:8443/webportal
