Create disk image of linux computers fails on a SSL -enabled setup that uses self-signed certificates. In the logs you get a imaging task fails with error: value=-2147418052, error=60, msg=Problem with the CA cert or path - make sure certificate is valid.
This is currently fixed in 7.6 HF5, we recommend to upgrade.
Workaround if your unable to upgrade at this time:
Download attached ULMagent.tgz
1. On the NS go to "\Altiris\Deployment\BDC\bootwiz\oem\DS\Linux\x86\Base" 2. Replace ULMagent.tgz with the one downloaded. 3. Run package refresh tasks, and then re-create preboot environments for linux.
This will allow for the task to run without an error until you upgrade to HF5.
