Streaming cache is reset when an upgraded package is provisioned for a client computer resulting in the client removing the package and redownloading the package during an upgrade.
Virtual Composer writes out the last modification date/time to an xml file incorrectly. When virtual composer goes to upgrade it will read it back in from the xml file and compare to the date time we get from a Microsoft API (GetFileTime). The milliseconds of the date time call was being dropped.
Symantec is aware of this issue and has fixed it in 7.5 SP1 HF7, and 7.6 HF2.
After upgrading to the correct version of Virtual Composer, it is necessary to recreate the virtual packages that were created with the buggy version of Virtual Composer. There is not an automated way around this.
