What does "Convicted" mean in the Endpoint Protection Quarantine?

Issue/Introduction
When the Proactive Threat Protection/SONAR module of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) quarantines a threat, you look in the Quarantine and see the status "Convicted". You want to what that status means.
Resolution
The "Convicted" status indicates that a file or process is considered a threat by the Symantec Reputation system.
