I have a valid license for Symantec Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), and I want to manually submit files to Cynic for analysis. Yet, when I log onto the Cynic portal (cynic.symantec.com) and attempt to upload my ATP license, I receive an error message.
The DeepSight product has changed and your license is no longer valid. To replace your license, contact Symantec Customer Care at firstname.lastname@example.org or your sales representative. For more information about the DeepSight Intelligence Portal and Datafeed, go to http://www.symantec.com/deepsight-products/.
The email address that you use to log into and register your license with the Cynic portal has already been used registered with the Managed Security Services (MSS) or DeepSight portal.
The current workaround is to create a new user with a different email address to log into the Cynic portal (do not use an existing MSS or DeepSight account to access the service).
