If the 'Prepare for Image Capture' task is not run for the deployed image, the client computer fails to boot into proudction after a 'Deploy Image' task that uses DeployAnywhere is ran
When the computer boots in production and starts to run Minisetup if will state that it cannot complete the installation
DeployAnywhere (DA) was checking three variable to make sure that a system was in a proper state before continuing. Because the variables do not exist on some systems that did not have sysprep ran on them, DA would remove the default unattend.xml and replace it with the auditusr and auditsystem sections only. Without the other sections of the unattend.xml, Minisetup cannot complete correctly.
Issue has been resolved in DS 8.0 HF1.
DA was changed to continue on if there is an unattend.xml file present on the system, regardless of the other variables. This ensures that systems will continue through minisetup even if sysprep was not ran on the source image.
