While performing remote deployment, if a device fails to boot for a prolonged time, after the mandatory restart post agent installation, the remote deployment job keeps running in the background thereby refreshing the Installation Status page on the console continuously.
This issue occurs when the server does not receive the installation complete status after successful agent installation.
Affected management console operating systems: All
Workaround: Restart the Symantec Embedded Security: Critical System Protection Manager service.
