MDM Client Enrollment Fails Using Gmail Account on Windows 10
When completing the steps to self enroll Windows 10 in Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Cloud, You must complete the Windows Mobile Device Management configuration which requires you to enter your SEP Cloud account email.
The Windows error message that is presented is not very helpful.
'We couldn't find your work or school. Check your internet connection, provide some additional info, and try again'
Gmail's functionality to create unique accounts by adding +# (IE. +1, +2, Ect) Is not accepted by the MDM management configuration.
In testing, using the root Gmail account will allow completion of enrollment.
