Computer encrypted with SED 10.4 Stand-Alone using SSO. Customer changed the password on an encrypted computer using Ctrl-Alt-Del. After this the passwords did not synch.
SED 10.4 Stand-Alone
When setting up an encryption user they used the following format: User Name: email@example.com Domain: domain.com or domain.local Password: The Windows password.
For the user name just use "first.last". Do not put a "@domain.xxx" extension. For the domain just use the domain name without any extension, i.e., no .com or .local. For the passphrase use your Windows password. Reboot the computer and ensure you can log in with the Windows password at the BootGuard. Then change the Windows password using Ctrl-Alt-Del and test to see if the passwords syncs.
