A customer with newly licensed DLP Cloud Service Connector has configured it to connect to the Elastica CASB CloudSOC - but the connection does not appear to be successful as no traffic moves between the appliance and the server.

There is a missing step in the "Technote: Using Elastica CASB with Symantec DLP Cloud" - a DLP Appliance added to the CloudSOC needs to be activated in order to function.
As per the instructions on page 4 of that guide (see Related Technote), one should save the configuration settings on the Data Loss Prevention Appliance (DLP) panel.
The missing step is next - "click to activate the DLP Appliance".
Once activated, the appliance should be able to connect successfully.
