Issue/Introduction

After importing the DCS Server Certificate into the browser, the error "Unable to Connect to DCS: Server. Ensure that you have accepted the DCS: Server certificate in the web browser" appears when viewing Assets or Policies.

Cause

Communication to the DCS Manager server over port 4443 is blocked.

Resolution

Ensure that port 4443 is open on the firewall for the DCS Manager.

Once the port is open, navigate to https://<DCS: Server IP or host_name>:4443/sis-ui/api/ to confirm a connection to the RestAPI port.

The following authentication failure will occur if the port is open:
{"errorResponse":{"errorCode":"401","errorMsg":"Authentication error. Invalid token.","errorRemedy":null}}

Additionally, Clear the web browser cache & restart it. Stop & start the DCS Manager Services.
