When the VIP user logons to Windows Credential provider - after the user enters the username and Password he gets prompted for OTP. When this VIP user enters Valid OTP /Invalid OTP with 6 digits VIP Validation server log gets updated which means the OTP is check is completed by VIP Validation server.
When this same VIP user enters any OTP other than 6 digits (Example 3 digits in OTP field), the VIP Validation server log never gets updated, which means the OTP check is rejected by the Windows Credential Provider.
VIP Plugin for Microsoft Credential Provider does a check for OTP length and that is the reason the request does not go to VIP EG Validation server for validation.
Our plugin will stop the auth request that has less than 6 digits in the OTP.
