VIP account notifications aren't being received by an organization due to incorrect contact information in VIP Manager.
(Note: VIP Certificate expiry notifications are emailed to the TECHNICAL contact within an organization's VIP Manager portal. Account expiry notifications are emailed to the CORPORATE and TECHNICAL contacts. Other important VIP notifications are emailed, as necessary, to the CORPORATE, TECHNICAL and BILLING contacts.)
To avoid missed notifications, Symantec recommends periodically reviewing the accuracy of your organization's contact information by logging into your VIP Manager and clicking the ACCOUNT tab.
To request changes to the billing, corporate or technical* contact in VIP Manager:
Download and complete the attached contact change form. Please fill out all fields completely.
The document must be signed by a legally-authorized signatory from within your organization.
Contact Symantec VIP Support and open a support case to request the changes. Provide the support representative a scanned copy of the signed document.
- Changes can take a few days as Symantec verifies the information. - *An alias/distribution list (E.g., VIPCertAlerts@example.com) can be used as the technical contact email address for a broader delivery audience. - Only organization domain email addresses are valid. No personal email addresses. - Click here to change authorized support contacts for maintenance and support agreements.
